2020 GOAL UPDATE THROUGH JULY 2020

Posting my 2020 New Years' goals was a great idea.  It forced me to focus on meeting these goals or otherwise look like a massive chump.

Not only did I keep up with my goals, but I have completed the goal of matching all but one of my goals for the year.   This is a twisted way to find a positive in the Covid lockdown.  I just could not spend my money.   But I did trade in my car for a Prius.

PERSONAL PROGRESS:

1. Take a spring road trip.  Yellowstone would be ideal.  THREE WEEKS FROM A 10 DAY  TRIP THROUGH OREGON AND NORTHERN CALIFORNIA IN THE NEW RIDE.
 I CAN'T WAIT

2. Exercise more.  KEEPING UP.  SORT OF.  

3. Drop about 20 lbs.   STILL DOWN ONLY 8.  I JUST LOVE THE AFTER WORK SNACKS

4. Drink more green tea. STILL HITTIN' IT.  ADDING SOME JASMINE AND EARL GREY

5. Sell off some of my record collection.   It was a long term goal to sell eventually.  Well, I have run out of room.  I think I would rather sell than keep some of the ones I rarely listen to.  SOLD A DIO AND MEGADETH ALBUM FOR A BUCK EACH.  JUST NOT INTO THE METAL THING

6. Improve piano skills and improve guitar skills. PLANNING ON RELEASING AN AMBIENT ALBUM LATER THIS YEAR.  STILL WORKING ON IT.   

ALSO CREATED SOME COOL NON AMBIENT STUFF.    
HERE IS "THE MOON" CREATED WHILE WATCHING A STAR TREK EPISODE AND PLAYING WITH SOME SIMPLE KEY RIFFS.

8. Enjoy more oysters like these.  MY FAVORITE OYSTER BAR, THE BROOKLYN, IN DOWNTOWN SEATTLE, CLOSED FOR GOOD.   THEY DID NOT WANT TO DO TAKEOUT OR WAIT THIS OUT.  THEY HAD AT LEAST 10 DIFFERENT OYSTERS READY TO GO AT ALL TIMES.  OH I WILL MISS THIS SO.
